I remember when I got my first camera.  It was a Christmas gift from my grandmother.  A bright pink LeClic, 110 film camera.  I could not have been more excited.  And I remember how hard it was to limit the number of pictures I took to the 24 frames on the film.  I wanted to take pictures of everything. All the time.

 

Now, all these years later, I still get excited about cameras and camera gear, and now I have the ability to take as many pictures as I want! I have always loved photography and I am very lucky to be able to do something I love so much.  When my son was born, I decided to focus on children, families and weddings.  I realized just how important these moments are in life and how much it meant to me to have those moments recorded for myself, and to be able to record those times for others.   Personally, I'm a little crazy, a lot silly, and I love to have fun!

 

I believe very strongly in giving back to the community, diversity and inclusion, respect for all people, and respect for the Earth.  I strive to embrace those values in all that I do, both personally and professionally.   I love taking photos  of all types of people and families.  From time to time you will see sessions on my blog that I donate to children with illnesses through various non-profits.  I also donate to local schools and animal rescue groups at times.
